Our goal is to provide the same experience as a small neighbourhood sushi-ya in Japan — fresh imported fish, selected by our chef, served the traditional way.
Chef Masaaki Toyokawa trained in Tokyo at the renowned 下高井戸旭鮨総本店 (Shimotakaido Asahi Sushi Souhonten) before bringing his craft to British Columbia. He has worked in the sushi industry for over thirty years.
We do not chase trends. Much of our fish is flown in directly from Japan, and the menu shifts with the season — but our intent never does: to give you an authentic, traditional sushi experience, plate by plate.
Reservations are by phone. We seat a limited number of guests each evening — please call ahead to secure your table or counter seat.
